After purchase, go to PubRef Pro → Account in your WordPress admin. Enter your license key exactly as received in your purchase confirmation email and click Activate License.
First, confirm your license is active under PubRef Pro → Account. Then go to PubRef Pro → Queries and verify you have a query key saved with a valid PubMed search string. Try clicking Clear Cache and reloading the page. If you're logged in as admin and see an error message, it will tell you exactly what's missing.
Yes - staging and local development environments are automatically detected by Freemius and don't count against your license activation limit. Simply activate your license normally on your staging site. If your staging domain isn't automatically detected, just reach out and we'll get it sorted.
